When I tell you, this is my favorite city in the world I mean it. I’ve never loved a city more and I don’t know what it was about it the first time I visited but there was so much charm I just couldn’t get enough. Anytime I can talk about Spain, this is the city I always brag about. Forget Barcelona, have you been to Sevilla where flamenco originated from because let me tell you you’re missing out. The town I used to live in Cadiz had a train that would take you to Sevilla everyday so any chance I had to take a daytrip I would. When my dad and I explored the city for the first time it felt so exhilarating. We ate delicious food, explored the cathedral, and just took in all the sights of being in a foreign country. My soul felt so at ease as this was now my new home for the next school year. I never felt like a tourist but as someone who belonged there. Being able to speak the language fluently helped tremendously but also made me feel like a citizen of the world. This is also where I would have to fly out for the majority of my trips. The Jerez airport was also nice to have close by and I could get too using the city train but Sevilla airport allowed me to travel far and wide. I can’t wait to return to someday with my future husband and kids and show them why this place is my favorite place on earth.
