Return to Spain for Drumcode

Something about waking up in Spain just felt so right. It felt like I was home. That place healed the most broken version of myself and I will forever be indebted to it. Being able to dance to techno for 3 days straight with really amazing friends from all over the world made my heart and soul so content. From Colombia, Canada, Costa Rica, Germany and the US we really are a worldwide rave group. Being able to share the same love of music with others is something I don’t take for granted. I wish I could turn back time and stay in Mallorca forever. I remember the first time I went to Mallorca solo and explored the city center while drinking a strawberry margarita. I had the most radiant glowing skin in all the pictures that I took because I was so happy to be there. This time it was nice to be with a group of friends and enjoy each other’s company. The festival itself was small and it even had a dedicated free shuttle to the afters. It only had one stage so we were able to enjoy all the same sets and our group which was a decent size was able to stay together. The European crowds are way more mature than the US crowds and truly what I prefer. On night one when we were about to take our uber to return to the hotel we were able to meet Adam Beyer whom was casually standing outside. I truly have the best luck with getting pictures with DJs. I can’t wait to return next year for another European festival because there is nothing better.
