I will never shut up about how magical my Tomorrowland experience was for me in 2023. For starters, when I was able to secure my tickets in January of that year it let me know how long I needed to stay in Europe for. For those new here I was living in Spain at the time and due to my job assignment and resident card expiring May 31st, I was able to legally stay an additional 90 days in Europe after that but I ended up staying about an extra 60 days. So the fact that Tomorrowland was the only thing keeping me in Europe to then finally come home was honestly the most on brand festie jessy thing of me to do. I was able to stay at the Tomorrowland Theme Hotel which last years was Le Plaza Brussels in the heart of the city. The chances of me getting this same hotel ever again are slim to none so shoutout to Morgan for snagging this for me.

It’s the best hotel to get of the hotel packages provided in the Global Journey package because you would have two shuttle times to depart from in the morning. Trust me this comes in clutch after the second and third day and you would have free makeup/hairstyling each morning which I only used on Sunday. Breakfast was provided but not only that, every night after a full day of festival madness we would go back to hot food being served at night which no other hotel had and I got to enjoy it all to myself. They even had a candy bar!

Every night after returning to my room they would have a little treat and surprise gifts with the Tomorrowland logo along with their official newspaper. Talk about feeling spoiled. When I tell you they think about every single little detail they mean EVERYTHING. That is why no festival in the US or the world will ever compare because it truly does make you feel special. It’s not Number 1 for no reason. I even remember checking in to the hotel and I had a shirt that said “I ❤ My Energy” and the front desk team was like “yesss girl we feel it” haha classic. I look back and am so thankful for the groups of friends I was able to experience it with. I oddly enough had a friend group from each phase of my life, my Denver babes whom I had just met the year prior, My hometown friends from California some whom I’ve known since 6th grade, and then most recently my Spain buddy who I met celebrating Thanksgiving abroad. I didn’t plan it this way but I ended up dedicating each day to each group first Day the Denverites, the second my hometown Cali homies, & last day running around with the Spain boys.

I want to share a great friendship story and why I felt so special getting to run around all the stages and be rave mom to Atone & Scotty the first day. They actually met at Tomorrowworld 10 years prior which no longer exists. It only lasted from 2013 to 2015 in the US and both of them had never been to Tomorrowland so for them it meant everything to reunite and if that’s not how you celebrate friendship I don’t know what is.

My great friendship story is that I was lucky to share this experience with my girl Vero whom I met at EDC 2014 Las Vegas. We’ve seen each other grow through the multiple seasons of life from my Bachelorette to her wedding to my Kindergarten bestie. Grateful to get to dance with you all these years later and miss our Hollywood clubbing era 😉

Each and every single one of my friends I thank for this unforgettable experience from dancing in our ponchos, giving me shoulder rides and loving the music as much as I do. One of my favorite sayings is “Your vibe attracts your tribe” and my god am I so lucky for the multiple tribes I have all around the world. I met so many wonderful human beings that weekend from multiple countries and even found someone from the same zip code 805 represent!

Oh ya & did I mention how I was able to meet the one artist I was looking forward to seeing all weekend Eli Brown by 5pm of the first day. Talk about being at the right place at the right time, I had a moment of “ARE YOU KIDDING ME!” The day had just started and my weekend was already made.

This is when I knew the Universe was about to hand me down one of the best weekends of my entire life and it sure did. I can honestly say my favorite part of the festival was the moment I had walking through the crowd and hearing all the multiple languages being spoken and coming to the realization that music is a universal love language. We are all there because of our deep love & appreciation for it.

When I tell you the last day as Martin Garrix closed out the festival and I watched the fireworks alone I thanked God for putting me there. I started my European journey alone with just him & leaving alone with him still there. He knew all along what was in store for my life & he needed to put me through certain obstacles to begin to appreciate life more and live like tomorrow isn’t promised. I wish I was kidding when I say I was sobbing as I walked out of the festival I didn’t want it to end. I felt super emotional not being there again this weekend because of how much it means to me but rest assured she will make her return very very soon.
