We celebrate our 1 year Anniversary on the 25th of this month. I truly can’t believe we’ve been married for a year already! Time really does fly when your having fun. Our wedding was so magical I wish I could repeat that day all over again. I can also still remember the day he proposed to me like it was yesterday because I was so surprised, best birthday surprise ever! I am honestly the happiest woman alive because I have someone like Jonathan to share my life with. We really do share such a special bond since we met at the tender age of 20 and soon we’ll both be turning 25. This year has taught me a lot about myself but also about us as a couple. We may not always agree on the same thing but being considerate and understanding of the other person is key when dealing with any situation. I truly believe that enduring long distance during our dating years really strengthened our trust in each other which has made our marriage so strong. Among other qualities I truly consider Jon my best friend because I can tell him anything and he truly has my back. There’s nobody I laugh with more than with him. Even my parents were so in love with him when they met him because of his pure heart and amazing personality. I can’t forget my brothers they also really liked him especially Michael. I’ll always remember my dad saying he is just so likable, I don’t think there is anyone out there that would meet him and not like him. Very true dad he is such a charming person the way he carried himself instantly attracted me to him. Who knew a simple friend request on Facebook was going to lead to this beautiful journey we have shared. From visiting New York & San Francisco to convincing him to get married in another country and many visits to Arizona our love sure goes the distance. Everyday I try and remind Jonathan how truly loved and important he is to me. I always saw the way my dad treated my mom with so much love and I just knew I would do the same with my future husband. I also try my hardest to have dinner made everyday when he comes home after a long day of work because I know he’s putting in the same amount of effort at work to support our little family. May not always happen but at least I try. We have been asked A LOT when we are going to have kids and honestly we don’t have an exact answer. We do want to wait and enjoy being married first and hopefully buy a house next year which is our current goal. For now our one bedroom apartment is not big enough even for a dog which is what we want to get next. We are in no rush but when the time comes I know we will become amazing parents and seriously how good looking will our kids be. I’m very thankful I married into the Binetti family they are so loving and always willing to give advice so thank you to my sister and mother in law for that. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us but I know it will be amazing as long as I have my husband and family by my side. We will be enjoying our 1 year Wedding Anniversary in Las Vegas this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited to create more memorable memories with him. So cheers to love and happiness and many more blissful years! #journeyofjonandjess
